Who we are

CashGapAgent is a financial diagnostic service operated by an individual based in the United Kingdom. Contact: hello@cashgapagent.co.uk.

What data we collect

When you use CashGapAgent, we collect:

Email address — provided by you on the upload page. Used to identify your report and to contact you about the service.
Sage CSV export files — uploaded by you for analysis. These contain financial data from your accounting system (profit & loss, trial balance, aged debtors, aged creditors, sales day book).

We do not collect names, addresses, phone numbers, payment details, or any data beyond what you explicitly provide.

How we use your data

Financial analysis: Your CSV files are processed on our UK-based server to generate your financial health check. The raw data is parsed by software running locally on the server — it is not sent to third-party AI services or cloud platforms for processing.
Email communications: We may use your email address to send you your report, notify you of service updates, or share information about CashGapAgent services. You can unsubscribe at any time by contacting us.

Where your data is stored

All data is stored on a UK-based server (IONOS, UK data centre). Your CSV files and generated reports are stored on this server only. We do not transfer your data outside the United Kingdom.

How long we keep your data

CSV uploads: Retained for up to 90 days after upload, then automatically deleted.
Generated reports: Retained for up to 90 days.
Email addresses: Retained until you request removal.

Who we share your data with

Nobody. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party. Your financial data is not used to train AI models. Your email address is not shared with marketing platforms or third parties.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

Request a copy of the data we hold about you
Request deletion of your data
Request correction of inaccurate data
Withdraw consent for email communications
Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)

Cookies

CashGapAgent does not use cookies or any tracking technology. We do not use analytics services. We do not track your browsing behaviour.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will be changed accordingly. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
